Xiaomi Mi Band 4 is a Substantial Upgrade Compared to Mi Band 3 Every year, Xiaomi launches a new Mi Band model which ships with several upgrades over their predecessors. The Mi Band 3 was a decent upgrade over the Mi Band 2, but the Mi Band 4 has way too many new features compared to the Mi Band 3. First of all, the Mi Band 4 has a coloured AMOLED display, unlike the monochrome one we saw on the older generation Mi Bands. Also, there’s a bigger battery this time around to accompany the colour display. Xiaomi claims the Mi Band 4 is capable of delivering 15 days of battery life. Rest of the features are pretty much identical to the Mi Band 3, but Xiaomi has made some improvements to them as well. The Mi Band 4 has a 6-axis high-precision sensor which detects your swimming behaviour. The Mi Band 4 is also capable of tracking different sport modes including running, walking, exercise and so on. Xiaomi Mi Band 4 Likely to Reach India Next Month The Mi Band 3 was launched in India back in September 2018, and now, it’s time for an upgrade. Xiaomi India is currently teasing the Redmi K20 series launch in the sub-continent, but who knows, the company might spring a surprise to its fans in India. Xiaomi usually launches a lot of products at one go in India and we might see the Mi Band 4 making its debut alongside the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro next month. Talking about the Redmi K20 series, the phones are expected to reach India by July 15. The Redmi K20 with Snapdragon 730 SoC will likely be priced around Rs 22,000, while the K20 Pro with Snapdragon 855 SoC could retail at a starting price of Rs 26,999, taking on the OnePlus 7 and Asus 6Z. At the moment, we don’t have the pricing info for both the phones in India, but Xiaomi will launch them at aggressive rates to take on the competition. The Mi Band 4 will likely cost the same Rs 1,999 as its predecessor.
