Folks at XDA Developers have got their hands on to the first ever beta build of MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie for the Redmi Note 5 Pro. According to a report coming from XDA, the first Android 9 Pie beta update of Redmi Note 5 Pro is based on MIUI 10 9.3.25 beta based on Android 9 Pie. Consumers interested in getting the MIUI 10 9.3.25 beta on their Redmi Note 5 Pro can download the update via MIUI Forums. How to Download Android 9 Pie Beta on Redmi Note 5 Pro The MIUI 10 9.3.25 beta update for Redmi Note 5 Pro measures 1.7GB in size – this is for its recovery flashable zip. This means before downloading the beta update, the Redmi Note 5 Pro users must connect their phone to a Wi-Fi network to save on their mobile data. The Redmi Note 5 Pro users must also ensure to back up all their data before downloading and installing the Android 9 Pie beta update. It is also worth noting that considering this is a beta update there can be some bugs, but all these issues will be solved in the stable update. The Redmi Note 5 Pro was launched in India in February last year which was followed by the successor Redmi Note 6 Pro, which launched in the second half of 2018. The Redmi Note 6 Pro now has a successor aka the Redmi Note 7 Pro. Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7 Pro in India last month for starting price of Rs 13,999. This price is for the base model of the Redmi Note 7 Pro which comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There’s a 6GB RAM model too which is priced at Rs 16,999. From the Redmi Note 5 Pro to now the Redmi Note 7 Pro, Xiaomi has come a long long way as far as the design, as well as the specs, are concerned. The Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with aura design, drop dot display, Snapdragon 675 chipset, Android 9 Pie based on MIUI 10, 48MP main rear camera, and others. Xiaomi has also launched the Redmi Note 7 alongside the Redmi Note 7 Pro in India last month.
