If you are oblivious till now, it is worth knowing that the OnePlus 7 Pro will sport a curved edge display which will resemble the Samsung curved display, something we get to see on its flagship phones. Now only a few days back, it was revealed that DisplayMate awarded the highest possible rating to the OnePlus 7 Pro display. The phone scored A+ on DisplayMate’s parameters. However, a tipster going by the username @Samsung_News_ on Twitter had revealed something interesting about the display of the OnePlus 7 Pro which might pique the interest of phone gamers. The tipster told that the display of the OnePlus 7 Pro would come with 90Hz refresh rate and it would also be able to switch between 90Hz and 60Hz refresh rates. According to this leak, OnePlus is calling this display as “Fluid AMOLED”. Now the first thing to note is that the for the first time, OnePlus is going to enable 90Hz screen on its smartphone and it is going to do so with the ability to switch between lower refresh rates and higher refresh rates. It is probable that OnePlus has done this to preserve battery life. It is also worth noting that some of the most revered gaming phones like the Asus ROG also sport a 90Hz refresh rate display. OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro Specifications Out Now Another leak has been made by popular leakster, Slashleaks, who has revealed that the two variants of the upcoming OnePlus phones, the OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 7 Pro will have a lot in common. The handful of differences that we will get to see between the two variants will be in the display and RAM, as the OnePlus 7 will sport a 6.2-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel with 60Hz refresh rate, whereas the OnePlus 7 Pro will come with 6.64-inch Quad-HD+ AMOLED display with the 90Hz refresh rate. Besides this, there is also going to be a difference in the selfie-camera, as the Pro variant of the OnePlus 7 will feature a pop-up selfie camera whereas the standard variant will house the front camera on the upper bezel. The RAM on the device will also be higher and will boast of a 10GB moniker as opposed to the 6GB stick on the standard OnePlus 7 variant. In the upcoming launch event, OnePlus will also be launching a 5G variant of its phone, the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, but it’ll be limited to some countries like the Europe and South Korea.
