Dish TV Announces Auto Pay Later Service   With the conditions prevailing in the Jammu and Kashmir region, the subscribers are likely to face issues in reaching out to their nearest retail outlets or in accessing the internet. Due to this, it is also possible that they won’t be able to continue their recharges for DTH services and are likely to be cut off from the happenings. Now owing to the “Auto Pay Later” feature of Dish TV and D2h, the customers of these two DTH service providers will be able to access services on their TV for four days beyond recharge date so that there is no disruption and they may keep themselves up to date with the happenings of the country and the world. Dish TV CMD, Mr Jawahar Goel remarked about this new move of the company as he said, “TV is an essential service and especially so in times when keeping up with the latest happenings and entertainment is critical. While there might be temporary and necessary restrictions in Jammu and Kashmir, Dish TV India limited will ensure uninterrupted service to our Dish TV and d2h subscribers in J&K.” He further added, “DishTV and d2h connections will not switch off if any subscriber finds it difficult to recharge their account during this period. We have introduced special benefit of Auto Pay Later facility to our patrons which will provide them continuity in entertainment and current affairs in the present scenario.” Dish TV and D2h Being Proactive in Tough Times It is also worth noting that Dish TV and D2h have been proactive when it comes to offering services to its subscribers in such tough times. This is not the first time that Dish TV has made a move like this for its subscribers. During the Cyclone FANI, which hit the coast of India through Puri, Orissa and wreaked havoc in the state, claiming life and property, after the risk had subsided, Dish TV and d2h had set up free service camps in the region to provide repair services for set-top box and broken equipment. During the time, this move was very well appreciated by the consumers.
